Egypt

Egypt

The ancient Egyptian civilization lasted for over 3000 years and became one of history’s most influential and iconic civilizations. At its height, ancient Egypt’s empire stretched as far north as modern-day Syria and as far south as today’s Sudan, but long before it was an empire, ancient Egypt was a series of small independent city-states that bloomed along north Africa’s Nile River.

Ambition, Conquest, lust, murder & the power of unrivaled technology. These are the cornerstones in the foundation of the Roman Empire.

It emerged from a small town founded by a refugee Trojan ancestor of Aeneas, becoming an Empire officially in 27 BCE. From a small city-state ruled by the Etruscans, but when they became a Republic in 509 BCE, they created the world’s biggest empire even though they were driven by a collective cultural ego. They erected colossal buildings, stadiums, palaces, roads, and aqueducts that spanned three continents.

Greece

The ancient Classical (Hellenic) and Hellenistic eras of Greece are undoubtedly the most splendid, having left behind a host of ideas, concepts, and art to provide the foundation of what we call: “Western Civilization.” They were an extraordinary people born of white rock and blue sea. They invented democracy, used logic, reason, and philosophy. They Wrote plays to plumb the deepest recesses of the soul. They captured the perfection of the human form in athletics and art. Quite simply: The Greeks Created our World.
